Atwood community leader Joe Parra holds up a replica of the beloved neighborhood mural that the late artist Manuel Hernandez-Trujillo painted in 1977. It's become the pride of the barrio, as it's faded and survived whitewashing, and the community is working with the government to restore the mural for good.
